Social Media Privacy Notice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PRIM POINT SRL (\u201cUnbox Communication\u201d, \u201cUnbox\u201d, \u201cwe\u201d) is committed to protecting your personal data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This notice explains how we process personal data when you visit or interact with our official Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn accounts, including when you follow us, react to or comment on our content, tag us or send us a direct message. It supplements our Privacy and Cookie Policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The social-media platforms also process personal data for their own purposes under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control all of that processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Who is responsible for processing the data?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the processing described in this notice, the controller is PRIM POINT SRL, a strategic communication agency registered in the Republic of Moldova, with its registered office at Colinei nr. 1 Street, ap. 29C, Codru, MD-2011, Chi\u0219in\u0103u municipality, Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. What data do we process and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Public interactions. <\/strong>When you follow our account, react, comment, mention or tag us, we may see and process your account name or username, profile image, publicly available profile information and the content and time of your interaction. We use these data to operate our accounts, communicate with our audience, respond to comments, moderate inappropriate or unlawful content and protect our accounts and users. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in communicating about Unbox and maintaining safe, useful social-media pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Direct messages. <\/strong>If you write to us privately, we process your account details, the content of the message and any contact details or files you choose to provide. We use them to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in managing correspondence or, where you contact us about a possible collaboration, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Please do not send sensitive personal data unless it is necessary for your enquiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Page statistics. <\/strong>Meta and LinkedIn provide account administrators with statistics about visits and interactions. We use these insights to understand the performance of our content and improve our communication, based on our legitimate interest in evaluating our public communication. We normally receive aggregated statistics rather than information that directly identifies individual visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the collection and aggregation of information used to create certain page insights, Unbox and the relevant platform may act as joint controllers. This does not mean that Unbox is responsible for every activity carried out by the platform, or that we have access to all data it processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We do not use the information you send us in a direct message to send unsolicited marketing communications. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Who may receive the data?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Access within Unbox is limited to staff who administer our accounts, respond to messages or need the information for the relevant enquiry. Public comments, reactions, tags and similar interactions may be visible to other platform users according to your settings and the platform\u2019s design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The relevant platform processes the data needed to provide its service:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Facebook and Instagram<\/strong> are Meta services. The Meta entity responsible for you depends on your location and is identified in the Meta Privacy Policy<\/a>. For Page Insights processing covered by the GDPR, see the Page Insights Controller Addendum<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 LinkedIn<\/strong> is provided by the LinkedIn entity identified in its terms for your location. See the LinkedIn Privacy Policy<\/a>. For Page Insights processing covered by the GDPR, see the Page Insights Joint Controller Addendum<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These companies may process data outside the Republic of Moldova or the European Economic Area and describe their transfers and safeguards in their own policies. Where Unbox exports information from a platform or shares it with a service provider, we apply the transfer safeguards required by the law applicable to that processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We may disclose data to public authorities, courts or professional advisers only where required by law or where necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. How long do we keep the data?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Direct-message correspondence<\/strong> is normally kept for 24 months from the last exchange. If it leads to a contract or is needed for a legal claim, it may be kept with the relevant file for the applicable contractual, accounting or limitation period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Public interactions<\/strong> generally remain visible while the relevant post or account remains active, unless you or we delete or hide them earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Statistics<\/strong> retained by Unbox are generally aggregated. The platforms determine how long they retain the underlying data for their own purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deleting information from an Unbox account does not necessarily remove copies already retained by the platform under its own policy, or content shared or copied by other users.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Your rights<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Subject to the conditions in applicable law, you may ask us for access to your personal data, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may also object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, where we rely on legitimate interests. Write to dataprotection@unbox.md<\/a>. We normally respond within one month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For processing carried out jointly with a platform, you may contact either Unbox or that platform. For processing carried out by a platform for its own purposes, the platform is usually best placed to respond because Unbox may not have access to the relevant data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you consider that your data have been processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection<\/a>. If the GDPR applies to you, you may also contact the supervisory authority in the European Economic Area country where you live or work, or where the alleged infringement occurred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Additional activities and notices<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A campaign, competition, recruitment exercise, event registration, social-media lead form, custom-audience activity or other initiative may involve additional processing. Where necessary, we will provide a specific notice when the data are collected. That notice will take precedence for the activity concerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Legal framework<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Up to and including 22 August 2026, we process personal data in accordance with Law No. 133\/2011 on personal data protection. From 23 August 2026, Law No. 195\/2024 on personal data protection enters into force, replacing Law No. 133\/2011 and aligning the Moldovan framework with Regulation (EU) 2016\/679 (GDPR). To the extent that the GDPR applies, we also comply with its requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9. Changes to this notice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
